Our Syringe driver Competency Programme is designed to equip registered nurses with the skills and knowledge needed to manage syringe drivers safely and effectively in palliative care settings

Online Learning

This portion is conducted through Hospice Waikato’s PalEd system and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete

Onsite workshop

Before attending a workshop, you must complete and pass the online component as outlined. You can then register for one of our upcoming workshops.

Off-site workshops

For residential care or primary health facilities, our clinical Nurse Educators can deliver this workshop at your organisation.
