Merchandise from www.hospice.co.nz is only available for shipment within New Zealand

All prices are in New Zealand dollars.

Refunds, returns or disputes

In the event of a quality issue with any of our merchandise, Tōtara Hospice will be happy to refund or replace any of the purchased goods upon return and inspection of the originally purchased item(s) within 28 days of purchase. Tōtara Hospice will consider exceptional circumstances for refunds of donations. If you have made a donation you need to withdraw or dispute please contact us.

Delivery and Receipts

Delivery costs are provided through the online shop order form when purchasing merchandise. Receipts for purchases and donations will be issued within 7-10 days. Receipts for regular giving donations will be issued at the end of each financial year.

Community  Guidelines  for social media

Tōtara Hospice’s social media pages are a safe space for online conversation with our community.
We understand that end-of-life care can be an emotional and complex topic andindividuals or organisations may hold strong opinions. We expect and respect that. Tōtara Hospice’s purpose is to honour living and dignify dying. We believe in the human rights of individuals, and that all people who need palliative care should have the right to access it, and that all patients have the right to make their own choices about managing their condition and their care. We welcome your feedback on our social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. To protect our online community, we kindly ask that everyone interacts respectfully with each other. Private messages, public comments and images on Tōtara Hospice’s social media pages must always be polite, respectful, appropriate and relevant. If it becomes necessary, we will close discussion to ensure a safe and supportive space for all our community. We reserve the right to remove contributions and followers from our social media pages that break the rules or guidelines of each platform’s own community standards. e.g. Facebook, Instagram. We also reserve the right to remove contributions and followers from our social media pages that do not meet our community guidelines stated below.

Community  Guidelines

The following conduct and behaviours will not be tolerated by users of Tōtara Hospice social media pages
  • Comments that are insulting, discriminatory or break the law
  • Comments or images that are inflammatory, libellous, harassing, defamatory, abusive, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented or racially offensive
  • Comments that contain swear words, profanities or threatening language
  • Comments that use derogatory or misogynistic nicknames
  • Comments that are off topic
  • Excessive criticism of other comments or commenters
  • Comments in capital letters, or mostly in capital letters, or with bold font
  • Comments that publicise personal information or contact details or impersonate someone else
  • Comments that post photos or videos of people without their prior consent
  • Personal attacks on our people.
  • Repeated comments saying the same thing (spamming)
  • Comments that contain URL links, Gifs, pictures, videos or link to explicit content
  • Comments that contain advertising or services or provide endorsements
  • Comments that spread misinformation that may mislead the public
We reserve the right to remove any content we believe violates our community rules. We may also report, block or ban anyone who breaches these rules. And remember this is a public space. What you say can be viewed by others – be safe and don’t post personal details about yourself or others.
