Sustainable funding for Hospice services
An independent report by Martin Jenkins warns that Hospices across Aotearoa, New Zealand, are approaching a critical funding shortfall, with operating costs set to exceed government and community contributions within the year. As demand grows, care becomes more complex, and our population ages, the Hospice sector is seeking to work in partnership with Health New Zealand and other government agencies to create a sustainable funding model that ensures ongoing access to Hospice care across the country.
