Supporters privacy
Tōtara Hospice respect the privacy of our supporters. The personal information we collect from you is kept in a secure database. We use the information only for fundraising purposes and to keep our donors informed about our activities. For these purposes, we may:
- Seek financial information from you (e.g. credit card details to confirm your donation);
- Contact you by direct mail, email or telephone, unless you request us not to;
- Use the information in our database for statistical and other purposes relating to our fundraising work.
We will not share our supporter database with any other organisation and, unless otherwise legally required, will not give your personal information to anyone else without your prior consent. Anyone whose personal details are on our database may request and correct those details at any time.

If you wish to withdraw your ongoing support of our organisation, please contact us by emailing fundraising@hospice.co.nz or calling (09) 640 0025.

Your sensitive information is handled with the utmost care, and we take every necessary measure to protect it from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
We also request that those visiting Tōtara Hub uphold our privacy commitment and protect patient privacy during patient visits, attending events or training, or accessing any of our services, facilities or venues.
