The Fundamentals of Palliative Care is a blended learning programme designed to equip healthcare workers with essential knowledge and skills to provide compassionate care to patients in the last stages of life.

Online Component
Access the free online portion through the Hospice NZ website under the Education tab for more information. -
Onsite Workshop
Split into four parts, the in-person workshops are held at the Tōtara Hospice Conference Centre. Each day consists of hour-long sessions delivered by our Clinical Education Team. -
Flexibility
You do not have to attend all four days; you can attend any combination of days that suit you. This course is run three times a year.

Course Cost and Inclusions
The total cost for the four-day training is $160. While bookings cover all four days, you have the flexibility to attend the sessions across different cohorts to suit your schedule.
