What volunteer opportunities are available?
We offer a variety of volunteer roles, including retail, fundraising events, administration, gardening, driving, and patient and family support.
How much time do I need to commit?
Volunteer commitments vary depending on the role. Opportunities range from one-off events to regular weekly volunteering. We appreciate any time you can give.
Do I need previous experience?
No. Most volunteer roles do not require previous experience. We provide the information, training, and support you need to get started.
Will I receive training?
Yes. All volunteers receive an orientation and any role-specific training required to help them feel confident and supported.
Can I volunteer around my work, study, or family commitments?
Many volunteer roles offer flexibility, and we will do our best to find a role that fits your availability.
Do I need a MOJ/ Police Vetting check?
Yes, we require a MOJ check. Police Vetting applies for those involving contact with patients, families, or vulnerable people. We will let you know if this applies.
What happens if I cannot attend my volunteer shift?
Please let your manager know as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made.
What support is available to volunteers?
Our Volunteer Services team provides ongoing support, guidance, and regular communication to ensure you feel valued and connected.
